Message From The Patron YB Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh

I wish to thank the President and Committee Members of the Sibu Sacred Heart Secondary School Alumni Association of Kuching for inviting me to write a few words in your annual souvenir programme.

It always gives me great pleasure to be associated with our Alumni Association. Such association reminds us of the source where we gained valuable knowledge, skills and guidance from our former teachers. During oyr days in our alma mater, we were taught, norished and natured through both academic and co-curricular activities as well as in mental and spiritual endeavours. Hence, we are indeed indebted in many ways to our mother school.

I would like to applaud the Sibu Sacred Heart Secondary School Alumni Association for having successfully organised various activities for the Alumni. These activities provide the opportunity for the Alumni to express their gratitude as well as to keep in touch with each other and the current development of the mother school. The Alumni Association can jointly organise various education and social activities with the school for the benefit of the present students. The Alumni can also share their college/university and career experiences with the present cohort of students so that they can be more prepared to face the challenges in the future. The theme of this year's gathering 'Let's Pass It On...' befits the occasion.

Lastly, I wish you happy reunion and all the best in your endeavour.

Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh

Minister Of Finance (II) and Minister Of Urban Development And Tourism Sarawak
